Success Story : LIFESTYLE
I started My Health Revolution back in August 2020, one of my friends had taken a photo of me and I literally took one look at that photo and cried.
Looking at that photo, I couldn’t recognise the person in it and this made me feel awful. I was miserable and I had lost so much confidence in myself. I wanted to do something about it but I also LOVE food and my partner will be the first to say if his portion was bigger than mine he would receive daggers from across the room! I didn’t fancy another “diet” either so I knew I had to find something that was going to work better.
Luckily, I knew Keri from a previous gym that I attended back in 2018. I reached out to her to find out more and I signed up straight away without hesitation. Thank goodness I did as I haven’t looked back since!
The programme is a lifestyle change, you have to be committed to it and yourself to get the results that you want. Once you do that, it’s easy. It took me about two months to get my head around the calories and nutrition, I persisted and most importantly I spoke to my coach whenever I had a bad day, week or just needed that extra boost to get me through the day. Their knowledge is invaluable and without their encouragement and support I know deep down that I would have fallen at the first hurdle.
My mindset now is a positive one. I continue to push and meet my personalised targets set on a monthly basis. Although I’m not where I want to be yet, I am so close and this seems to just motivate me more. Looking back now, I realise just how low my mood was before as I am no where near that now.
I’m looking forward to coming out of lockdown, fitter, healthier and happier than I have EVER been and have My Health Revolution to thank for that!
In only 5 months, I have lost 13.9kg and 96cm across the whole of my body and I will continue to be consistent and push to get to my target!
