Our commitment to your privacy

“Personal data” is any information about you and which could identify you.
“Special categories of personal data” includes information about your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership.
“Processing” means any use of your personal data e.g. collecting, recording, storing, amending, disclosing, retrieving or destroying it.
“Data controller” is the person or body who, alone or with others, is in charge of how and why your personal data is processed.
“Data processor” is the person or body who processes your personal data for the data controller.
“Application” means the hardware or software which collects your personal data, so for us this includes the My Health Revolution app and website, our CRM system Zoho, and our email management system Microsoft Outlook.
“User” means you, the person using an application.
Information we gather and track
We may collect information in several different ways, including when you are accessing or signing up to our services, resources or online content, or when you’re speaking to a My Health Revolution representative.
These are the general categories of personal data we may collect and process about you:
- Profile data – for example, your name, gender, date of birth, job title.
- Personal data – for example, weight, age, measurements, health concerns
- Contact data – for example, your email address, postal address, land line or mobile number, social media pages.
- Account data – for example, orders, billing addresses, payments, subscriptions.
- Application data – for example, account setup details, contact and profile data including the setting up of passwords
- Correspondence data – for example, in the form of email, message conversation notes.
- Public relations data – for example, client success stories and images.
The personal information collected from users will only be requested in order to be able to provide the desired services as per the membership level purchased.
Our applications and services are not designed for use by anyone under the age of 18. We will never knowingly ask anyone under the age of 18 to submit personal information without parental consent.
How we use your information
We use your personal information to maintain and manage your account, deliver the services you have requested, and enhance your experience of our services.
This includes providing you with:
- Our services, activities or online content, and giving you information about them.
- Advice and support on your My Health Revolution journey.
- The most user-friendly, online navigation experience.
- Personalised services where we analyse the information you supply, in order to offer you the most appropriate level of support against your stated goals.
- Information which may be of interest to you (where you consent to receiving this).
It also includes:
- Dealing with your requests and enquiries.
- Processing your orders for services
- Applying safeguards to ensure you are offered the right My Health Revolution membership programme and service.
- Keeping track of your My Health Revolution journey.
- Listening to voice recordings in response to queries, or for training and development purposes.
- Using and disclosing information in aggregate (so no individuals are identified) for marketing and strategic development purposes
Contacting your information for marketing purposes
We will only send you marketing emails or contact you where you’ve given us your consent for this or demonstrated a legitimate interest in receiving these communications.
We offer regular emails to let you know about exclusive offers, competitions, tips, our social media feed and other exciting My Health Revolution information, ranging from news to marketing opportunities.
We may personalise the message content based upon any information you’ve given to us and your use of our applications.
You can “opt out” of marketing communications at any time – email us at [email protected] and insert “UNSUBSCRIBE” as the subject, or click on the “UNSUBSCRIBE” link at the bottom of marketing emails.
Disclosures of Your Information
We do not sell or rent your information to marketers or third parties.
We may share your Personal Information with our subsidiaries and affiliates, and with trusted contractors, service providers and other third parties who need to know such information to provide services that we request to support our operation of our Site. For example, payment processors, as well as any third parties that you have directly authorized to receive your Personal Information. For example, we use Google Analytics to understand the behavior of our customers to provide a Site experience that better suits your interests and preferences.
We make contracts with other companies to obtain services on our behalf, including web-site development, credit-card processing, delivery and software services. We provide these companies only with the information they need to perform these specific services, and they are permitted to use the information only for those purposes, or as required by law, or if you’ve agreed to any additional use or sharing of your information.
We may disclose your information to law enforcement or other similar authorities, in connection with a criminal investigation, investigation of fraud, infringement of intellectual property rights, or other activity that is suspected to be illegal or may expose you or us to legal liability. We may also disclose your Personal Information to comply with any court order, law or legal process, including to meet national security and law enforcement requirements and to respond to any government or regulatory request or audit and to enforce or apply our Terms of Service, including for billing and collection purposes, or if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
User Generated Content and Public Information
User content is any content, materials or information (including without limitation, any text, information, graphics, messages, photos, images) data, questions, comments, suggestions or other content, including personally identifiable information that you upload, send, email, display, perform, distribute, post or otherwise transmit to us, at our request or on your own, on or through the services, whether in connection with your use of the services or through the use of any third party websites or services, and whether publicly posted or privately transmitted.
My Health Revolution or others may store, display, reproduce, publish, distribute or otherwise use user content online or offline in any media or format (currently existing or hereafter developed) and may or may not attribute it to the user. Others may have access to the content and may have the ability to share it with third parties. My Health Revolution does not control who will have access to the information the user chooses to make public, and cannot ensure that parties that have access to it will respect the users privacy. My Health Revolution is not responsible for the privacy or security of any information the user makes publicly available on the service, app or website or what others do with information shared.
Use and Disclosure of Aggregated Data and Traffic Data
We may convert or combine some Personal Information of users into de-identified or aggregated data that does not disclose any of the Personal Information of any individual user. We may use and disclose any such de-identified or aggregated data without restriction.
Some of the information that we collect from cookies, web beacons or other embedded code relates to your personal use of the Site and allows us to store information about your preferences, speed up your searches and recognize you when you return to our Site. Other information that we collect from cookies, web beacons or other embedded code is not tied to your Personal Information and enables us to estimate our audience size and usage patterns. This traffic data may be shared with third parties without restriction.
We do not currently collect Personal Information about your online activities over time across third-party sites for tracking purposes, but we do track information about your use of our Site over time so that we may better target our own marketing and promotional materials to your interests and preferences. We do not currently allow third parties to collect Personal Information on the Platform that could be used by them to analyze and store information about your online activities over time and across third-party sites for tracking purposes. The Site is not currently configured to respond to any “DO NOT TRACK” signals sent by your web browser or mobile device.
Social Media Sites and Widgets
You may be able to use social media widgets such as the Facebook Like button on the Site. These widgets will collect your IP address and identify which page you are visiting on the Site and make your preference information available to third parties. The information collected by such widgets is controlled by third-party privacy policies.
Name and Likeness
My Health Revolution may publish users name and other personal information that is part of the users content. My Health Revolution may use the content, or any portion of the content, for advertising, marketing, publicity and promotional activities, provided that My Health Revolution will not exercise such rights that identifies the user in a public manner (other than in providing the services to the business customer and the business customers other participants) unless the user provides a separate consent to My Health Revolution in writing authorising such use.
Use of Anonymous information
We may use anonymous information (as defined) or disclose it to third party service providers, to provide and improve the service. We may also disclose anonymous information (with or without compensation) to third parties, including advertisers and partners for purposes including, but not limited to, targeting advertisements. Anonymous information means information which does not enable identification of an individual user.
You may choose not to receive future promotional, advertising, or other service related notifications from us by changing the notification settings on your device. If you choose not to receive notifications, you may still use the service but you may not receive, or may be unable to use, certain services that involve our interaction with you.
At all times, you may choose whether or not to provide or disclose personal information. The notices that we provide on the service in circumstances where we collect personal information should help you to make this choice. If you choose not to provide the personal information we request, you may still use the service, but you may be unable to access certain programmes that involve our interaction with you.
International data transfers
If we transfer any of your personal information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) to an “international recipient” (e.g. where we use an off-shore, Cloud-based provider to store data), we’ll ensure that recipient complies with all applicable data-protection laws.
How long is your information kept for?
We, and any companies processing your data on our behalf, only keep information about you for as long as we need to. Our internal retention policy has varying retention periods for different categories of information, depending on our legal obligations and whether there is a commercial need, such as answering customer-account queries. When your personal information is deleted, it’s anonymised for analytical purposes.
How is your information protected?
We take the security of your personal information seriously. We have internal policies and controls in place to protect personal data against loss, accidental destruction, misuse or disclosure, and to ensure data is not accessed without our authorisation.
All personally identifiable information is subject to restricted access to prevent unauthorised access, modification or misuse. Please note, however, that we may release your personal data if required to do so by law, search warrant, subpoena or court order.
Registration and authentication
By registering or authenticating your personal information with us, you allow our applications to identify you and give you access to dedicated services.
Third parties may provide registration and authentication services. When this is the case, the application may be able to access some data, stored by these third-party services, for registration or identification purposes.
Linking to other websites
Our applications contain links to other applications owned and operated by third parties, such as Fitbit. These websites have their own privacy policies about the use of personal information you submit while visiting them, so it’s a good idea to review them. We don’t accept any responsibility or liability for the privacy practices of such third-party websites.
System logs and maintenance
For operation and maintenance purposes, an application and any third-party services may collect files that record interaction with an application (system logs) or use for this purpose other personal data (such as an IP address).
Your personal data may be used for legal purposes by My Health Revolution, in court or in the stages leading to possible legal action arising from improper use of this application or the related services.
You (the user) declare to be aware that My Health Revolution (the data controller) may be required to reveal personal data if requested to by public authorities.
